Lunch & Learn: developing a fundraising strategy

The Reflect Recover Renew research findings clearly confirmed that accessing more sustainable funding is a key concern for organisations. However, with the cost-of-living remaining high and grant funding under increasing pressure, achieving this can be an ongoing challenge.

Becoming less reliant on one type of income could make your group less vulnerable when resources are tight – but what are the options?

We’re hosting a series of free, bite-sized, Lunch & Learn sessions led by specialist trainers, to help you explore some funding considerations you may not have previously thought about, including how to develop a fundraising strategy.

About the session

Having a practical fundraising strategy can help future proof your organisation, harness team ‘buy-in’, and provide focus and actionable steps for the next 12 to 36 months.

This session, delivered by MMC Ltd., will give you the practical skills and knowledge to develop a fundraising strategy for your organisation. It will cover what you might need to include, how to structure it, and ways to use it as a practical tool in your fundraising.

Who is it for?

Tailored specifically for the charity and social enterprise sector, this session is designed for anyone who is new to Fundraising Strategy or is seeking a refresher. For Somerset-based VCFSE groups.

About the trainer

Your trainer for this session will be Rosie Gitsham, Fundraising Services Lead at MMC Ltd. Rosie has experience of trusts, digital, corporate and major donor fundraising and is currently working towards a Diploma in Fundraising from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

Tickets to this event are freely available to staff and volunteers from voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations in Somerset
