A vision for a thriving, resilient VCFSE Sector in Somerset

As an infrastructure charity, we have the knowledge and connections to support the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE sector) in Somerset. That’s why, in 2022, we published the Reflect, Recover, Renew report which explores the impact of Covid-19 and how we can overcome the challenges together.

The shared vision

The report, which is based on extensive research and feedback from 190 groups, also sets out a shared vision for a thriving, resilient VCFSE sector based on five key principles.

Task and finish groups

Building on this work, we’ve now established three task and finish groups of  VCFSE leaders and representatives from a diverse range of groups across the county.

The groups – each chaired by a different VCFSE representative – will identify and trial a range of short and long term projects and initiatives, based on the research findings and supported by funding from Public Health.
