Safe Haven Recovery Navigator

Second Step have an exciting opportunity for a skilled an enthusiastic Recovery Navigator to join their Safe Haven Crisis & Recovery Centre team.

Second Step are a charity that provides good quality housing and support services to people with mental health and other related support needs. Their aim is to deliver recovery and wellbeing opportunities for people with mental health and other support needs to help them achieve their hopes and ambitions.

Part of their service is the Safe Haven Crisis & Recovery Crisis Centre, a safe space that operates during the evening for people in acute emotional distress who may be in need of remote or face-to-face support.

Second Step are looking for a Recovery Navigator to join their Safe Haven team, and work collaboratively with those accessing their services, connecting them to community resources and other professionals.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ significant experience working with people with mental health or other complex needs, including homelessness, alcohol or drug dependency, and other long-term conditions. They will have proven knowledge of equal opportunities issues, and an understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures relating to adults, children and young people.
