Community Transport Coordinator

Wivey Link are looking for an organised Community Transport Coordinator to join their busy team.

Wiveliscombe Area Partnership (WAP) are a charitable organisation based in Wiveliscombe House that serve the local community. The busy community office is supported by numerous volunteers, and is the base from which WAP provide community information and meeting rooms, and run the Wivey Link community transport service.

In order to help ensure the smooth running of their transport service, Wivey Link are looking for a Community Transport Coordinator who will assist the Manager with scheduling, take bookings, and support the service’s volunteer drivers.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate sympathetically and patiently with people from all backgrounds. They will have demonstrable IT skills, including managing databases, and experience in volunteer recruitment, training and support.
